What are these banks trying to prove? Are they not happy with the new RBI policy of free Inter Bank ATM transactions? I lost some money last week while trying to make a withdrawal from an ATM. I tried to withdraw money from an ICICI ATM close to my house from my UBI account and I lost the money and ICICI and UBI both refused to help me with it, and I shot a mail to ICICI support telling them that Chandra Kochar can utilize that money to buy some sexy lingerie for herself and they promptly replied saying that they did not appreciate my mail and that it was lack of professionalism. who is lacking professionalism here? Today my brother had gone to an SBI ATM that is close to his place to withdraw Rs. 1000 from his ICICI account, and the same thing that happened to me happened to him too. Network error, money taken from his account, and he didn’t get the money, and as usual, just like everyone does, he threw away the slip that he got from the ATM. No proof that way. I guess his money would be gone too. Without the slip, there Continue Reading

The climate these days here in Pondicherry is lovely. The monsoons are here, with a lovely temperature all around us, and great lighting from the shadowy skies. When I turn on the AC in my room, I begin to shiver, and it keeps on reminding me of the trip that we took to Mavelikara last week for an asset recovery case that is pending there. Though we travelled in an air conditioned coach, myself and my brother prefered to stand outside and watch the greenary there. it was lovely, and right now the climate keeps on reminding me of the day that we spent there, the place of our birth.

I had gone to Kerala with my brother, and when I had come back, I couldn’t resist shopping at Chennai. Chennai is such a lovely place, though a bit dirty and all, it is great for shopping. We did get into a good garments shop and bought afew things for ourselves, and went over to spencer plaza, a place that is popular for things like expensive lingerie corsets where I picked up a few things for my baby, and got myself a pair of ultra sexy shoes. I have been sticking to formal and semi formal shoes all these days, and I have never tried any sexy sort of shoes that is a bit out of the way, and I really think that the shoes are quite sexy.

Where there is a printer there is a demand for cartridges. And if its a richer establishment, the demand will be more for Toners. Ink Jet printers use Cartridges and Laser printers use Toners. And as long as people dont stop using paper, there will always be a demand for printers and ink. And, both usually cost a lot. The ink for your pen might not be so costly, but the time that you take to write a content in a paper in hand might look like a lot of time when compared to the speeds of laser printers these days. Laseer printers print at a speed of 1 page per second. Printers are being developed that are able to shovel out reems and reems of paper in just a few minutes. And all that requires ink in the form of Toners for Laser printers and Cartridges for Inkjets. Toners use a laser beam to melt power and shape them to a letter which is transfered into a paper, while cartridges blow ink onto paper to form a perfect letter or an image. I recommed shopping online for anything you want, and online shopping for laser fax machines will always fetch Continue Reading

My brother, as always, sent me a link a few days ago, to a site called good reads. If you are a good reader, and you read a lot of ‘books’, and not just stick around wikipedia to call yourself to be a good reader, then this site is for you. Register on the site, and here you can search for any book that has got an isbn number with the name of the book or the author’s name, and you can rate the book with 1 to 5 starts, mark it as read, reading or to read, and share it with your friends. This should be fun, to find out how your friends rate a book that you have read and rated. You can atleast use it to show off the number of books that you have read in your lifetime, or atleast remember reading. I have read a good number of books in the past 15 years, but unfortunately, I remember names of only 80 of them. Daily updates of all your friends are sent to your mail, and your updates are naturally sent to all of your friends too. Since it is a new site, and not Continue Reading
