If you have not heard any weight loss stories using the Acai berry for great benefits, then what you will see here is an actual experience that has helped changed the life of a person who has taken them for health reasons.

The most popular items in the market today are diet products. You will see and hear about them in many forms, and will be promised much astounding results also, especially those that wonderfully claim that you can lose 10 pounds in a week by ingesting a pill and not do anything else. Where can you possibly find a product that will let you eat and drink anything you like without any other activity or exercise and still lose those unwanted pounds? Products like these are clear hoaxes that capitalize on the desperation of a good number of the population. There are actually some means to shed of some pounds a little faster than normal in a more realistic and natural manner, which if you have not heard of before, are from weight loss stories using the Acai berry.

The fruit comes from a palm tree and looks like a grape with less pulp. It mostly comes from Central and South America, and is seen along swampy areas and floodplains in Belize, Brazil, and Peru. weight loss stories using the Acai berry have been long known by ancient people, but it was only quite recently that this has been sensationalized in the field of size reduction and overall health. Aside from weight loss stories using the Acai berry, you will also hear of its benefits as a very good antioxidant and as a cause to battle cancer.

Do not be misled however, by a lot of products that carry this as an ingredient in their supplements. Always bear in mind that there is no way to shed off significant amounts of pounds in a few days. If this were true, then it would probably do more harm than good and would be quite dangerous to mistakenly ingest.

The actual experience this person went through was noticing that he was feeling more energized after a week from eating the berries. He felt better refreshed because of well-rested sleep and had the urge to exercise each day after. It was like total regeneration. In 3 weeks, he had shed off 9 pounds. There were no more cravings at night and his skin became clearer. Meals were now actual serving sizes that did not feel like you were constricting yourself. And 5 more weeks later, his doctor noticed reduced amounts of cholesterol in the body as well as improved physique.

Acneticin

Posted in General on July 19th, 2009 by Ravi

A few days ago I was chatting with a friend who is a girl, and she said she is scared about acne. I didn’t know what the hell it was, and did a bit of search to know what it is. I asked her whats the big deal, patches here and there, so what? And she said that she would prefer death if something of that sort happens to her. Now I understand why it is such a hot niche. I did a bit of research and found out.

Acneticin is a powerful internal acne supplement. Its formula targets acne from the source: far beneath the skin. If you are one of the tens of thousands who have tried every topical acne treatment to no avail that Acneticin is your clear alternative. Although it takes a bit longer (1+ Week) to see results, they are more permanent. In fact, if you already have a topical application that works for you, use this if you want to add the “cherry on top”.

UBI and ICICI Dont Work Well Together

Posted in General on March 31st, 2009 by Ravi

In one of my earlier posts, you might have noticed that I bank with Ubion Bank of India and SBI only and not with the private banks. Well, unfortunately, when I need cash, I have to turn to the private bank ATMs only that are close to my house, and since UBI is already offering free withdrawals from Otherbank ATMs, I usually prefer to withdraw cash from my UBI account.

A few days ago, when I tried to withdraw Rs 5000 from my UBI account thru an ICICI ATM close to my house, the ATM waited for sometime and spat out the card saying that there was a network error. When I fed the card again, I found that Rs 5000 which I had entered previously has been deducted from the account and I have nto received cash.

I have learned about this in an RDBMS paper in college. Money gets deducted from one account and doesnt get transfered to another.

I approached UBI and they said that since ICICI has swollowed my money I should approach ICICI and whe I went to ICICI, as expected, those bastards wont even notice that I am there after I told them my problem.

I spoke to my friend, who has a number of Mesothelioma lawyers for friends, and he told me that if this Rs 5000 doesnt matter much to me, I’d better leave it, since if I go after it, it would take a lot of time to reclaim it, and it will cost 80% of the money, and you can’t claim the expenses from the bank in any case.

Also, he said, there is one principle that you should always follow. Even if the free withdrawal policy has come into effect, always withdraw from Govt. banks from Govt Bank ATMs only. Private Sector banks don’t like Govt Banks much and they create all sorts of trouble for them and make the client work very hard to get back the money so that they could possibly get him as their client saying that their service is not as bad as Govt Banks.

Technology is helpful, but I guess getting back to old fashioned banking when you are at home by visiting the branch for withdrawals should be the best thing to do and use the ATM cards only while travelling.

cPanel is the best control panel for Linux

Posted in General on September 30th, 2008 by Ravi

I must say, that out of my experience of running a web hosting copany and trying out several control panels by spending money for all that from my own pocket, I have come to the conclusion that linux is the best operating system for budget servers. If you run a bank then you might need solaris and stuff but for basic operations of putting up a decent website online, the best operating system that you could look for to operate the server is Linux. Windows sucks.

And unfortunately to make things easier on a web server you need something that is called a control panel that will maek all sorts of configurations for you. And without the control panel you will have to do all these settings manually and if you would be hositng a lot of websites on the server you would find yourself overloded with the work.

On linux, the best control panel is cpanel. Plesk sucks. There are a lot of open source alternatives, but none have the rich features of cpanel cpanel has got everyhting that you could ever think of.

I recently bought a vps for a small requirement from a provider, and to save about $5 a month, I got hooked up with plesk. And that pissed the hell out of me for the past few months. And a few days ago I moved that site to another vps that I had taken with cpanel, and the site is running excellently with just half of the ram. It appears that plesk was taking up most of the resources in the older server.

And right now after this, I find that I have a lot of spare time, that now I can go myself and print my Halloween invitations.

The Land of Bad Servers

Posted in General on August 26th, 2008 by Ravi

Pondicherry is not a big city. It is more of a tourist spot, and a place wehre politicians fight for their superiority within their 1 KM zones in which they would be elected. I have never cared to learn what it is called in English, but in Tamil, they call it Toguthi. Well, so, the only standard ISP in Pondicherry just like in most parts of India is BSNL, and both at my home and at my office I am stuck with BSNL broadband, since the only other good one available is Airtel and it has a very very limited coverage here in Pondicherry.

Untill a few months ago, the connection at my home used to give problems every once in a while, and I used to get heavy bills for the usage though I doubt that I have used it much in those days, but right now, with the unlimited connections both at home and office, there is hardly any downtime.

Untill recently. At the office, for the past few days in the afternoon hours a strange phenomenon is occuring when the internet goes off every 150 seconds and comes back after every 150 seconds. This simply acts an an on off cycle with a frequency of 150 seconds. I got fed up with this today and went directl to the exchange, and they asked me to bring the modem stating that it si a modem problem. Bloody hell, a modem will not act like this, it is the problem of the bloody port to which our line is connected.

They are just refusing to check it, and when I came back to the office I found that net is working without the breaks, but with latency of upto 5 seconds per ping. I wonder how that works, there is a delay of 5 seconds or over 5000 ms for every request that is sent every second. Maybe the people programmed ubuntu know what they have been doing, and its correct.

Well, what is the best way to get connected to the internet? People these days do say that there will be satellite downlinks all over India in the next 2 years, and India would be the next server farm, and that you will find one in every home. If BSNL doesnt improve its service, people will start hosting their servers on BSNL, and that would come down as another black mark for India. The Land of Bad Servers.
