Nasa’s Beds

Foam bounces back. We Indians sleep on cotton beds. But there are beds developed by NASA to help astronauts to withstand the G forces during lift offs. Apparently this material is used at the bottoms and backs of the seats, and is now being commercially manufactured as beds. The material completely absorbs the weight of the body and distributes it evenly to the whole of its structure, and therefore you will find that your whole body is supported and there is no force that is actually pushing you up. This clearly means that you will have a good night’s sleep. Babies jump up and down on beds, twist and turn and abuse their beds as much as they can, and therefore I guess this material would serve best as baby bedding even if grown ups can compromise on this mateiral.
