On the fine line between extroversion and Introversion

Posted in General on August 27th, 2010 by Ravi

Such people are said to be ‘reserved’. Guess who I am talking about now. You guessed right. So, I love to drive around, preferably alone, but I never feel safe to go beyond city limits. No I’m not afraid of ghosts, or masked bandits, but am afraid of potholes and breakdowns.

So to overcome this fear, lately I am unable to go for long drives alone, and am having to take someone to accompany me, and am having to listen to all the useless stuff the person says.

And all of a sudden, I got this idea of starting a roadside assistance club, if you face problems, you just call someone in te club and they will send you help. Brilliant isn’t it.

Socializing in the evenings

Posted in General on March 19th, 2010 by Ravi

Humans, just like monkies are really social animals. There certainly are introverts like me who like to enjoy life alone and not at a social place.

After work is usually the time when people socialize, and to do this, the British follow a dress code which consists mainly of a dinner jacket, also known as a tuxedos, with a bow tie and suitable pants. This is considered be be a semi formal dress, and not entirely cassual.

Man is cultured with socializing, observing others, communicating. Without socializing, the humans would never learn anything. Though I call myself an introvert, I think I am quite sociable on blog networks and on forums. I just don’t like the presence of people and small talk.

If you got a kid, you need to let the world know.

If you have got a kid, you need to let the world know. The society must now that there is a new member in their group. That is why birth announcements are done with specially made cards that express the happy and excited moods of the new parents to the people they know. And this is not something that can be done with an email message or on a postcard or on a letter on a plain white sheet of paper.

Aquarium Lighting

Posted in General on March 4th, 2010 by Ravi

People usually buy aquarium lights and fix them on the top of the aquarium. These lights are usually available in marine blue or violet colors. Top lighting is pretty good, but I found a cheaper alternative. I bought 3 LED flash lights with 3 LEDs each, removed their reflectors with leds alone, and pasted them onto the sides of the aquarium tank, and powered them with a 3 volt 500 mA transformer.

This may screw up the eyes of the fish as the LEDs seem to be really powerful, so I guess the Blue Cross people will be knocking on my doors soon after reading this post, but hey guys, the lighting is beautiful, you should look at the Silver Foils and the Guppys and the zebras reflecting off the light. Its Marvelous. And to enjoy this beauty, I don’t think it is wrong to leave the light on for a few house every day in the evenings after the sun is down.
